Today my feet are wrecked and my quads are on fire, but I’m so glad I showed up and did my best with what I had.
That’s what I tell buyers and sellers: adjust the plan, not the goal. A price adjustment, a credit or a different neighborhood isn’t quitting. It’s how you still get to the finish line.

This week I wore closed-toe shoes for the first time in forever and tried a short run/walk. It was… okayyy. Skipping this year felt like the obvious call.
I didn’t want to quit, so I’m resetting instead. On Sunday I’ll walk, maybe mix in some run intervals, and enjoy being part of the race instead of racing it.
I give buyers and sellers the same advice. You can’t control the market, but you can control how you respond to it. Adjusting your price, your timeline, your search area or your terms isn’t giving up. It’s how you still make it to the finish line.
